Description

  • Empathize with end users and design solutions that balance customer needs with external constraints in a multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Own software-enabled solutions deployed to customers with a focus on delivering end-user value.
  • Implement software that expands current platform capability and supports future architecture and capability evolution.
  • Contribute to reusable software services and components across multiple Anduril product lines.
  • Develop software for both on-robotic-platform and off-platform use across a range of technologies.
  • Develop and iteratively enhance vehicle and mission software, including full lifecycle testing, monitoring, and operation.
  • Create test and simulation fixtures for software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop validation.
  • Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment efforts.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.
  • Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end users and other teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Professional experience as a Software Engineer in one or more relevant domains or technologies.
  • Systems and/or application programming experience, including algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scaling, testing, and software design.
  • Experience troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems.
  • Ability to work across the software stack through design, implementation, operation, and sustainment.
  • Ability to learn quickly and grow into the standard of a Senior Software Engineer.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
  • Experience delivering military mission systems (preferred).
  • Experience writing backend services or embedded software in C++, Rust, and/or Go (preferred).
  • Experience building frontend applications with TypeScript and React (preferred).
  • Experience with horizontally scaled cloud technologies (preferred).
  • Experience supporting embedded software, particularly in robotics (preferred).
  • Experience with modeling and simulation (preferred).
  • Experience developing high-assurance, safety-critical software (preferred).
  • Experience across manufacturing, system acceptance, deployment, and sustainment in the product delivery lifecycle (preferred).
  • Familiarity with systems engineering concepts (preferred).
