Description

  • Lead the technical design of intrusion detection and access control systems for new secured space construction and renovation projects.
  • Conduct site surveys, risk assessments, and gap analyses for new and existing accredited spaces.
  • Produce sensor coverage drawings, riser diagrams, conduit routing, and accreditation submittal packages for AO review.
  • Author and maintain technical standards, drawing details, and bills of material for IDS and ACS installations.
  • Specify, validate, and lifecycle-manage approved hardware platforms and security systems.
  • Coordinate commissioning activities with the AO, CSSO, ISSM, and CTTA and produce final acceptance test reports.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact during AO inspections and recurring re-accreditation reviews.
  • Drive cutover and turnover from integrators to Anduril’s operations team, including documentation and credential handover.
  • Collaborate on the semi-annual IDS test program, including scheduling, execution, evidence collection, and records retention.
  • Investigate false alarms, drive root cause resolution, and maintain corrective and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for system operations, maintenance, alarm response, and emergency conditions.
  • Hold integrators accountable for as-built quality, line security configuration, encryption settings, and documentation completeness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive security experience, preferably within a multinational corporation or Federal entity.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and enforce technical security policies and procedures for classified environments.
  • Strong knowledge of ICD-705 / IC Tech Spec v1.5.1 Chapters 7 and 8 and related IDS/ACS requirements.
  • Experience commissioning secured space security systems through final acceptance testing under an Accrediting Official.
  • Experience owning semi-annual testing, false alarm investigation, and corrective maintenance through the life of an accreditation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership and construction teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions in challenging situations.
  • Must be a U.S. Person and able to gain a security clearance due to access requirements.
  • Preferred: 7+ years of experience in technical security systems, especially access control and intrusion detection.
  • Preferred: Professional certifications such as PSP or CPP.
  • Preferred: Strong project management experience with large-scale technical security system implementations and upgrades.
  • Preferred: Extensive vendor management experience, including contract negotiation and performance oversight.
  • Preferred: Existing active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
