Description

  • Develop and maintain detailed project and execution plans covering feature development, testing and validation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Establish clear objectives and deliverables that align the software with program needs.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of battle management algorithms and software interfaces to support effective system integration.
  • Work with subject matter experts to incorporate relevant technical innovations into the project plan.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and project reports.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications across internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Provide regular status updates, including risks and milestones, through reports and presentations.
  • Assess, allocate, and monitor resources such as personnel, software, and hardware to keep the project on track.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks in collaboration with subject matter experts and update the risk management plan as needed.
  • Coordinate across divisions and departments to ensure integration requirements are met and program priorities are supported.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Extensive project management experience, preferably in software development for advanced algorithms.
  • Demonstrable understanding of optimization, applied probability, and AI/ML technology.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations and tight deadlines.
  • Active U.S. TS clearance and ability to maintain clearance.
  • Experience working in software development environments focused on advanced algorithms, preferred.
