Description

Implement and deploy core real-time image processing software for infrared imaging systems.
Configure Linux-based operating systems and develop terminal-based software.
Become an expert in Nix and NixOS and help define NixOS-based embedded systems.
Develop real-time, high-bandwidth processing pipelines in C++ and/or CUDA.
Define and implement test and simulation environments using software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop methods.
Support end-to-end system delivery from initial design through manufacturing, deployment, and sustainment.
Work with a multi-disciplinary team to solve challenging problems in a fast-paced environment.
Gain deep understanding of infrared sensor systems and existing image processing software.

Requirements

5+ years of professional C++ software development experience.
Experience using development tools such as Git, Jira, and CI/CD systems.
Experience developing low-latency, high-throughput software on Linux-based systems.
Experience testing and debugging firmware on hardware platforms.
Experience with networking, security, and distributed systems fundamentals.
Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies and frameworks.
Ability to communicate ideas clearly and produce detailed technical documentation.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.
Experience with Linux configuration and Linux kernel development (preferred).
Experience with C, Rust, Python, or other programming languages (preferred).
Familiarity with graphics programming or image processing (preferred).
Experience with high-performance networking software development (preferred).
Experience with Nix/NixOS (preferred).
Active Secret U.S. security clearance (preferred).

US salary range of $165,000 to $218,000.
