Description

  • Develop and maintain the project execution plan across feature development, testing and validation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Establish clear objectives and deliverables that align software work with program needs.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of algorithms and software interfaces for battle management, threat prediction, tracking, and classification.
  • Work with subject matter experts to incorporate relevant innovations into the project plan.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and project reports.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of the software release process and ensure smooth deployment.
  • Ensure software releases meet defined quality standards before deployment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project communications with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Assess, allocate, and monitor personnel, software, and hardware resources to support the project.
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and regularly update the risk management plan.
  • Collaborate across divisions and departments to ensure integration requirements and program priorities are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Extensive project management experience, preferably in software development for advanced algorithms.
  • Demonstrable understanding of optimization, applied probability, and AI/ML technology.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations and tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance.
  • Experience managing complex projects with multiple sub-teams and many stakeholders.
  • Strong technical background in software development, particularly in optimization and estimation.
