Description

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Micro-electronics Technicians.
  • Oversee complex wire bonding operations and microelectronic assembly production.
  • Provide technical guidance on wire bonding and component integration processes.
  • Ensure adherence to build sheets, Interface Control Documents, and engineering drawings.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase throughput, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage wire bonding equipment setup, calibration, adjustments, and preventive maintenance.
  • Establish and enforce in-process and final inspection and quality protocols.
  • Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventative actions for quality issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues.
  • Plan staffing, equipment, and material allocation while tracking and reporting production KPIs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in Electronics, Manufacturing, or Engineering Technology preferred.
  • 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in microelectronic assembly or wire bonding.
  • 2+ years of lead or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in manual, semi-automatic, and automated wire bonding techniques.
  • Experience with intricate microelectronic assembly, including adhesive and epoxy application.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and enforce build sheets, ICDs, and engineering drawings.
  • Experience leading and developing a technical team in a manufacturing setting.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and ESD-compliant work environment.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
