Description

  • Operate, maintain, and update a classified networking capability supporting Space Domain Awareness data.
  • Collaborate with Product Operations, Mission Operations, Software Engineering, and TPM teams to support end users of the operational system.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for end users across globally distributed locations.
  • Develop processes, workflow automations, and tooling to support a secure, globally distributed system.
  • Provide clear documentation and training guidance for remote non-technical staff on configuration, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization.
  • Work as a systems administration SME with a focus on Linux systems and configurations.
  • Monitor operational readiness for newly deployed locations and features and maintain the existing capability baseline.
  • Respond to issues in real time, perform rapid resolution, and drive root cause analysis across code and infrastructure in an air-gapped environment.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code and observability solutions for Linux-based distributed systems.
  • Provide 24x7 on-call support as part of the Space Domain Awareness operations team.

Requirements

  • Active U.S. Secret security clearance and ability to maintain it.
  • Experience with device configuration, basic troubleshooting, and incident triage.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage work independently in isolated secure environments.
  • Experience with Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience with observability tools and practices such as monitoring, logging, alerting, and tracing, including tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
  • Experience with Linux system administration, containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
  • Understanding of software development practices including Git, code review, testing, and agile methodologies.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance (preferred).
  • Experience with software-defined networking and distributed mesh networking, including routers, switches, firewalls, DNS, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VRF, QoS, and VPN (preferred).
  • Experience with COMSEC and HAIPE compliant in-line type-1 network encryptors (preferred).
  • Networking certifications such as CCNA (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Space Domain Awareness data and systems (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Anduril’s Lattice OS (preferred).
  • Experience with database administration, performance tuning, and data pipeline optimization (preferred).
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies, distributed systems architecture patterns, and production containerized applications (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Go, Rust, or Java, and/or experience contributing to open-source projects (preferred).
  • Little to no travel required, with occasional travel opportunities to end-user locations.
