Description

  • Build frontend applications for command-and-control systems, mission dashboards, and system health monitoring tools.
  • Design and develop secure backend and middleware services, including APIs and microservices.
  • Integrate Maritime systems, unmanned vehicles, and classified cloud environments with Lattice OS.
  • Develop integrations between sensors, mission systems, network devices, and multinational defense environments.
  • Implement and test secure networking solutions, including mesh networks, fault-tolerant data pipelines, and edge-to-cloud systems.
  • Collaborate with corporate IT and networking teams to support enterprise reliability, scalability, and security requirements.
  • Support multinational deployments and field exercises across U.S., Australia, and UK mission environments.
  • Work with hardware, autonomy, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure end-to-end product integration.
  • Create technical documentation, including integration guides, API documentation, deployment procedures, and best practices.
  • Contribute lessons learned from operational use to the next generation of Lattice and Maritime systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering or systems integration.
  • Strong frontend development experience with React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong backend development experience with Python, Go, Node.js, or similar languages.
  • Experience with systems engineering, including networking, security, and edge/cloud integrations.
  • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems architecture.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration tools.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, ideally in secure or classified environments.
  • Working knowledge of network protocols, mesh networking, and secure communication paradigms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Familiarity with Maritime platforms, including unmanned underwater vehicles, undersea sensors, or submarine combat and support systems (preferred).
  • Previous work with Lattice OS or similar autonomy and sensor fusion operating systems (preferred).
  • Experience with sovereign cloud environments such as AWS Secret Region or Australian IRAP-compliant builds (preferred).
  • Hands-on support for classified military networks, AUKUS collaboration, or multinational mission systems integration (preferred).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network interactions in dynamic operational environments (preferred).
