Description

  • Build frontend applications for command-and-control systems, mission dashboards, and system health monitoring tools.
  • Design and develop secure backend and middleware services, including APIs and microservices.
  • Integrate software with Lattice OS, Maritime systems, unmanned vehicles, and classified cloud environments.
  • Develop integrations between sensors, mission systems, network devices, and multinational defense environments.
  • Implement and test secure networking solutions, including mesh networking, fault-tolerant data pipelines, and edge-to-cloud systems.
  • Support corporate IT and networking systems to meet enterprise reliability, scalability, and security requirements.
  • Develop and test solutions for bilateral and multinational operations in the U.S., Australia, the UK, and AUKUS missions.
  • Collaborate with hardware, autonomy, DevOps, infrastructure, engineering, security, Mission Ops, and product teams.
  • Participate in multinational exercises and field testing to validate systems and troubleshoot integration issues in real time.
  • Write technical documentation, including integration guides, API documentation, deployment procedures, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering or systems integration.
  • Strong proficiency in frontend development with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Strong proficiency in backend development with Python, Go, Node.js, or similar languages.
  • Experience with systems engineering, including networking, security, and edge/cloud system integrations.
  • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems architecture.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration tools.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, ideally in secure or classified environments.
  • Working knowledge of network protocols, mesh networking, and secure communication paradigms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% for testing, customer engagement, and deployments.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Familiarity with Maritime platforms, including UUVs, undersea sensors, or submarine combat and support systems.
  • Previous work with Lattice OS or similar autonomy and sensor fusion operating systems.
  • Experience in sovereign cloud environments such as AWS Secret Region or Australian IRAP-compliant builds.
  • Hands-on support for classified military networks, AUKUS collaboration, or multinational mission systems integration.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network interactions in dynamic operational environments.
  • Preferred location in Costa Mesa, CA, Seattle, WA, Quonset, RI, or Washington, D.C., with remote work also possible.
