Description

  • Serve as the main point of contact for manufacturing support incidents submitted by internal stakeholders across the global manufacturing user base.
  • Own the intake, evaluation, debugging, escalation, communication, and tracking of reported incidents.
  • Act as the bridge between production operations and digital manufacturing systems, including PLM, ERP, and MES.
  • Monitor software problem intake across multiple manufacturing platforms and prioritize issues based on urgency, impact, and production constraints.
  • Perform root cause analysis by observing manufacturing processes and how they interact with digital systems.
  • Escalate issues to engineering support when needed and provide manufacturing context to software development teams.
  • Work directly with manufacturing engineers and senior manufacturing technicians, including regular visits to the production floor.
  • Collaborate with software developers, enterprise solution architects, and manufacturing subject matter experts to drive solutions.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures for new feature workflows and develop workarounds and best practices.
  • Lead or coordinate training for new feature rollouts and build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in technical support, deployment, or system maintenance roles.
  • Hands-on debugging experience with integrated enterprise systems, including MES, ERP, and PLM.
  • Ability to multitask competing support demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Functional understanding of manufacturing concepts, processes, terminology, and how they relate to software tools and data objects.
  • History of collaborative engagement with software engineers.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing engineers or technicians is preferred.
  • Exposure to production environments or shop-floor operations is preferred.
