Description

  • Work with manufacturing leadership to develop and implement strategies that improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
  • Analyze manufacturing data, including production metrics, process flow, and resource utilization, to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align manufacturing strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to keep manufacturing processes current and competitive.
  • Create and maintain documentation of manufacturing processes, strategies, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Lead kaizen, lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma initiatives to optimize production processes.
  • Provide input into capacity planning and workforce management to support scalable operations.
  • Implement and refine manufacturing KPIs to measure performance and drive accountability.
  • Support new product development from a manufacturing perspective, with attention to manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred, including an MBA or MS in Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing strategy or analysis role with measurable results from implemented insights.
  • Experience developing insights and solutions using data visualization and analysis tools such as Python, TypeScript, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, PLTR Foundry, or MS VBA.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large amounts of information accurately.
  • Ability to quickly understand current operations and potential issues on the product line.
  • Strong ability to work with manufacturing leadership to conceptualize solutions and gather requirements.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing software and advanced proficiency in statistical analysis and data presentation tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for explaining complex information clearly.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methods such as Six Sigma.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment and lead cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
