Description

  • Contribute to the design, development, and testing of electronics for airborne EO/IR systems.
  • Support systems engineering teams in defining and refining requirements based on physics-based models.
  • Assist with PCB layout design and development in collaboration with the electrical engineering team.
  • Participate in laboratory, ground, and flight testing and analyze test data.
  • Troubleshoot and test electronic components and subsystems to verify performance.
  • Collaborate with technical leads and project teams on system integration efforts.
  • Document test results, system designs, and engineering processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering with system-level design, development, and testing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience with analog and digital electronics design, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in laboratory skills, including setting up and running experiments.
  • Familiarity with PCB design tools and methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Experience in sensor or communication systems such as RF, EO/IR, or optical technologies (preferred).
  • Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or C++ (preferred).
  • Understanding of system integration workflows in aerospace or defense environments (preferred).
