Description

  • Assist with aircraft assembly, planned maintenance, preventive maintenance, and operational support across developmental UAS platforms.
  • Perform mechanical integration work including flight control surfaces, propulsion, composites fabrication, and avionics build, integration, and testing.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft subsystems such as landing gear, fuel systems, flight controls, and propulsion.
  • Carry out common airframe construction techniques and related hands-on mechanical work.
  • Complete aircraft, equipment, and maintenance documentation accurately.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain site support equipment.
  • Communicate mechanical assessment findings with engineering and production teams.
  • Perform validation and testing of electronic components using multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and test racks.
  • Apply proper FOD control and tool control practices.
  • Support safe and efficient developmental flight testing under civil and military approval frameworks.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of rotorcraft experience.
  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency with computers, including standard browsers and word processing applications.
  • Willingness to handle multi-capable work, including some electronics troubleshooting and repair.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to rapidly change roles and responsibilities in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • US security clearance eligibility is preferred.
  • Experience with both electric and turbine power plants is preferred.
