Description

  • Assist with aircraft assembly, planned maintenance, preventive maintenance, and operational support across developmental UAS platforms.
  • Perform mechanical integration work on flight control surfaces, propulsion systems, composites fabrication, and avionics build, integration, and testing.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft subsystems including landing gear, fuel systems, flight controls, and propulsion.
  • Complete common airframe construction techniques and aircraft/equipment documentation.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain site support equipment.
  • Communicate mechanical assessments and readiness status with engineering and production teams.
  • Validate and test electronic components using multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and test racks.
  • Follow foreign object debris (FOD) and tool control practices to maintain safe operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of rotorcraft experience.
  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency with standard computer tools such as browsers and word processing applications.
  • Willingness to handle multi-capable work, including some electronics troubleshooting and repair.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly change roles and responsibilities in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • US security clearance eligibility preferred.
  • Experience with both electric and turbine power plants preferred.
