Description

  • Perform trade studies, develop designs, and generate solutions for approval.
  • Procure hardware needed to implement manufacturing solutions.
  • Test, verify, and demonstrate the effectiveness of solutions.
  • Own a portion of the manufacturing value chain for a product or product set.
  • Work hands-on with technicians and engineers to build prototype hardware.
  • Develop tooling solutions for fabrication and assembly of Anduril products.
  • Create process flows that break complex assemblies into sub-parts and production steps.
  • Write manufacturing documentation such as work instructions, quality plans, and inspection requirements.
  • Contribute to mechanical or electrical design for end-customer hardware, including interconnects, board fabrication, and inspection.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Able to start full time in 2027.
  • A genuine interest in manufacturing and a desire to learn.
  • U.S. Person status is required to access Controlled Unclassified Information.
  • Internships or school-related experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing-related, is preferred.
  • PCBA fabrication experience, including setup, modification, or monitoring of SMT processes, is preferred.
  • Personal experience physically manufacturing hardware through machining, fabrication, soldering, assembly, or similar activities is preferred.
  • Software scripting experience in any language is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CAD software, Manufacturing Execution Systems, and ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
