Description

  • Define and deliver product vision, strategy and roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
  • Understand customer needs, market trends and regulatory requirements within the renewable energy sector.
  • Own and prioritise the product backlog to keep delivery teams focused on high-value outcomes.
  • Translate customer and business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Work with Engineering, Architecture, Design and Data teams to deliver scalable digital products.
  • Analyse customer, operational and commercial data to inform product decisions and prioritisation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Product, Operations, Regulatory, Commercial and Customer teams.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
  • Measure product performance using customer insights, KPIs and data to drive improvements.
  • Balance customer needs, commercial priorities and technical constraints to maximise product value.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager delivering digital products within Agile environments.
  • Strong experience developing product roadmaps and managing complex product backlogs.
  • Experience using customer insights and data to drive product strategy and prioritisation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams.
  • Experience working closely with Engineering, Design and Data throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset with experience in product discovery and problem definition.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer outcomes, delivery priorities and business value.
  • Comfortable working within complex, cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Experience within Energy, Utilities or Net Zero sectors is highly desirable.
  • Experience delivering digital products for Smart Export Guarantee (SEG), distributed energy, renewable generation or smart energy services is highly desirable.
