Description

  • Own compensation analysis, benchmarking, and market pricing to inform rewards decisions.
  • Lead end-to-end compensation cycles, including merit, bonus, equity, and RSU programs.
  • Design and refine compensation philosophy, structures, and job architecture.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and senior leadership on total rewards strategy and budget alignment.
  • Translate compensation data and recommendations into clear communications for diverse stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to implement equitable and scalable compensation solutions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for total rewards administration.
  • Monitor industry trends in total rewards, especially in financial services, crypto, and fintech.
  • Mentor junior team members and share knowledge to reduce single points of failure.
  • Support talent acquisition by contributing market competitiveness insights and rewards positioning.

Requirements

  • Progressive experience in Total Rewards, Compensation, or People Operations with a focus on compensation design and program management.
  • Deep expertise in compensation analysis, benchmarking tools such as Radford, Mercer, and Carta, and market pricing.
  • Proven experience independently leading the design, implementation, and administration of complex compensation programs.
  • Experience managing merit, bonus, equity, and RSU plans.
  • Ability to translate compensation philosophy into actionable frameworks and own all stages of compensation cycles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Experience collaborating with HR Business Partners, Finance, and executive teams.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as Workday and compensation planning tools.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with ambiguity and a need to build structure from scratch.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for audiences ranging from individual contributors to executives.
  • Preferred: direct experience with Workday HRIS and advanced compensation planning modules.
  • Preferred: exposure to international compensation practices and global equity program management.
  • Preferred: experience transitioning a company from options to RSUs.
  • Preferred: experience with trading or hedge fund compensation models.
  • Preferred: experience presenting to or influencing compensation committees or boards.
