Description

  • Build and implement products within billing and revenue management for finance systems.
  • Design solutions that are maintainable and extensible for future functionality.
  • Drive work independently on medium-to-large, cross-functional projects with limited oversight.
  • Break down large projects into smaller tasks, estimate scope and timelines, and evaluate trade-offs.
  • Coordinate with other team members and contribute to end-to-end project delivery.
  • Share knowledge across the team and help avoid single points of failure.
  • Mentor and guide teammates within your area of specialization.
  • Communicate across team boundaries to solve problems and build strong working relationships.
  • Monitor company objectives and trends that may affect the team’s ability to succeed.

Requirements

  • Real-world experience building complex distributed systems.
  • Strong appreciation for code quality, test infrastructure, and extensible architecture.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced agile software environment with the ability to context switch between multiple tasks.
  • Solid computer science fundamentals, including concurrency, algorithms, and data structures; a formal CS degree is not required.
  • Ability to collaborate daily and contribute as part of a team.
  • Prior experience implementing products in billing and accounting spaces is preferred.
  • Design and implementation experience with GraphQL, gRPC, or Temporal is preferred.
  • Comfort diving into lower layers of the stack and open-source projects to root cause bugs is preferred.
