Description

  • Research and integrate new cryptoassets and blockchain technologies into Anchorage Digital’s platform.
  • Build client-facing participation features, including staking, governance, and vesting.
  • Develop scalable, reliable infrastructure for interacting with multiple crypto networks.
  • Support integrated assets through upgrades and monitor for network-wide issues.
  • Contribute to and review code across the engineering organization.
  • Influence technical architecture and product roadmap decisions.
  • Promote deterministic testing practices while reducing technical debt and unnecessary process.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams.
  • Help scale the team through technical leadership and mentorship.

Requirements

  • Experience building complex distributed systems.
  • Ability to build services from scratch and support them over time.
  • Strong focus on code quality and test infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including concurrency, algorithms, and data structures; a formal CS degree is not required.
  • Ability to prioritize end-user experience and business value.
  • Experience with Go or willingness to learn it; the team primarily uses Go.
  • Experience with applied cryptography (preferred).
  • Ability to investigate issues in open-source projects and diagnose root causes (preferred).
  • Interest in blockchain protocols, cryptoasset innovation, and protocol white papers (preferred).
  • Background in the finance industry (preferred).
