Description

  • Design and ship seamless web2 ↔ web3 user flows, including custodial and non-custodial wallets, account abstraction, gasless transactions, and fiat on-ramps.
  • Build and maintain systems for the full digital item lifecycle, including minting, ownership, transfer, trading, redemption, and retirement.
  • Deliver fullstack features across wallet-connected frontends, backend services, smart contracts, and indexing layers.
  • Design data models and APIs that represent items consistently across databases, custodial wallets, and on-chain state.
  • Ensure correctness and reliability for value-moving workflows through idempotency, reconciliation, replay safety, and recovery paths.
  • Integrate with EVM chains, token standards, indexers, and marketplace settlement flows behind clean internal interfaces.
  • Collaborate with product, security, payments, and game-facing teams to translate business needs into technical plans and documentation.
  • Reason about trust, custody boundaries, and which functionality should live on-chain versus off-chain.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience bridging web2 systems with web3 infrastructure, including wallet onboarding and custodial vs. non-custodial trade-offs.
  • Working knowledge of EVM chains and Solidity, including reading, integrating with, and assessing contract safety.
  • Practical understanding of ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155 token standards.
  • Experience keeping blockchain state consistent with off-chain databases through indexing, event ingestion, reorg handling, and reconciliation.
  • Strong TypeScript and React skills for building production-grade interfaces.
  • Experience with wallet connectivity and web3 client libraries such as wagmi, viem, ethers.js, WalletConnect, or embedded/social login wallets.
  • Solid backend engineering experience with Node.js and Go, including clean APIs, concurrency, and performance under load.
  • Experience with distributed systems, especially around consistency, availability, and failure modes in value transfer workflows.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL schema design, query optimization, and migrations at scale.
  • Experience deploying, operating, and debugging services in Kubernetes, plus familiarity with Kafka or NATS and modern Git/CI/CD practices.
  • Experience building for game developers, publishers, or players, especially in-game items, economies, or ownership.
  • Preferred: experience building NFT marketplaces, item trading, or secondary-market/settlement systems.
  • Preferred: familiarity with blockchain indexing tools such as The Graph or custom indexers, and node/RPC infrastructure.
  • Preferred: experience with account abstraction (ERC-4337), smart wallets, or paymaster/relayer setups.
  • Preferred: background in payments or fiat on-ramp integration bridging traditional commerce and crypto.
  • Preferred: experience with non-EVM ecosystems such as Solana or cross-chain/bridging patterns.
  • Preferred: familiarity with security and compliance topics such as custody, key management, audit logging, and KYC/AML touchpoints.
  • Preferred: contributions to open-source web3, wallet, or tooling projects.
  • Preferred: hands-on experience with modern AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Cursor for engineering work.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to produce designs and decisions that stand on their own across time zones.
