Description

  • Participate in task breakdown, estimation, design, implementation, and maintenance of custody systems.
  • Write, review, test, and document code to Anchorage engineering and team standards.
  • Solve complex and ambiguous technical problems with practical solutions.
  • Review other engineers’ code to improve consistency and reduce errors.
  • Drive medium-to-large projects independently or with cross-functional teams.
  • Break down large projects into smaller tasks and estimate scope and timelines accurately.
  • Collaborate across teams and share knowledge to avoid single points of failure.
  • Mentor and guide teammates within your area of specialization.
  • Contribute to a deterministic testing culture and minimize tech debt.

Requirements

  • Real-world experience building complex distributed systems.
  • Experience with Go preferred; ability to learn other languages.
  • Strong engineering skills over familiarity with a specific framework.
  • Experience building resilient services that can scale without manual intervention.
  • Strong focus on end-user experience and business value.
  • Commitment to code quality and test infrastructure.
  • Solid computer science fundamentals, including concurrency, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, learn from others, and mentor teammates.
  • Applied cryptography experience is a plus.
  • GraphQL API design and implementation experience is a plus.
  • gRPC API design and implementation experience is a plus.
  • Background in the finance industry is a plus.
  • In-person onboarding is required for all new hires.
