Description

  • Own the product strategy and execution for security across custody, wallets, authorization, policy, and risk systems.
  • Define and maintain the roadmap for security platform capabilities, including cloud defense, secrets management, HSM-bound workflows, and secure-by-default developer tooling.
  • Partner with Security, Platform, Core Experience, Protocols, Compliance, Risk, and Audit to deliver secure capabilities across internal and client-facing flows.
  • Translate regulatory, audit, and risk requirements into clear product requirements, guardrails, and usable product surfaces.
  • Establish success metrics, KPIs, and post-ship control evidence to verify security effectiveness.
  • Work closely with security engineering to prioritize roadmap items and balance new capabilities with technical debt reduction.
  • Lead complex cross-functional security projects with multiple dependencies while maintaining quality and execution speed.
  • Communicate control intent, coverage, evidence, and roadmap tradeoffs to executives, auditors, and prospective customers.
  • Influence organizational processes to improve efficiency, safety, auditability, and collaboration across teams.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in product management, including 3+ years focused on platform or security products in regulated or high-assurance environments.
  • Strong technical fluency in one or more of: cryptographic primitives, authN/Z, HSMs and key management, secrets management, secure software delivery, runtime isolation, or threat modeling.
  • Proven experience shipping platform controls that are both developer-friendly and audit-ready.
  • Experience converting regulatory or control frameworks such as SOC 2, FFIEC, OCC expectations, or ISO 27001 into product requirements.
  • Comfort operating across deeply technical teams and non-technical stakeholders such as Security, Compliance, Risk, Ops, and Client Success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex security concepts clearly.
  • Experience driving and managing complex projects across multiple teams.
  • Deep understanding of system architecture concepts such as cryptographic primitives, HSMs, authN/Z, and secure enclaves.
  • Preferred experience in digital assets or financial infrastructure.
  • Preferred hands-on experience with hardware signing flows, policy engines, or secure enclave/HSM integrations.
  • Preferred experience building systems for straight-through-processing with pre-authorization risk decisions.
  • Preferred familiarity with incident response and detection engineering product needs.
  • Preferred experience writing your own smart contract or dApp.
  • Preferred experience building 0 to 1 products for financial institutions as a PM or developer.
