Description

  • Own the security reference architectures for the platform and AI products and keep them current as the systems evolve.
  • Define identity and authorization architecture, including for AI agents and analyst-style workflows.
  • Set encryption and key-management standards for the platform.
  • Design AI security guardrails, including input/output controls, tool boundaries, and defenses against abuse and prompt injection.
  • Lead threat modeling for the highest-risk systems and translate findings into design changes.
  • Drive secure-by-design practices across the supply chain and attack surface, including build integrity, provenance, hardened images, and surface reduction.
  • Establish the technical standards that the security practice codifies into enforceable guidance.
  • Stay hands-on by writing and reviewing real designs and prototypes and pressure-testing architectural decisions.

Requirements

  • Deep experience in secure software architecture, cryptography, identity and authorization, and threat modeling at scale.
  • Strong security expertise for AI and ML systems, including how LLM-driven features affect identity, authorization, supply chain, and verification.
  • Hands-on technical authority with the ability to design and review real systems and defend decisions to strong engineers.
  • Ability to influence senior engineers without formal authority, especially under risk and delivery pressure.
  • Experience with enterprise-scale SaaS or cloud-first environments where architecture decisions had significant impact.
  • Experience designing secure architectures for enterprise and regulated environments (preferred).
  • Published research, talks, or contributions to standards such as NIST, ISO, or OWASP (preferred).
  • An offensive security background, formal or informal, used to pressure-test designs (preferred).
