Description

  • Develop conceptual frameworks that guide project work.
  • Manage and analyze large-scale data files for research.
  • Apply quantitative techniques to collect and analyze data.
  • Organize and document analytic results and research procedures.
  • Prepare technical reports, journal articles, and presentations for clients, professional associations, and the public.
  • Assist in developing and drafting new research proposals.
  • Mentor research analysts and provide feedback on their work.
  • Manage or lead projects and tasks.
  • Serve as a client contact for analytical or statistical expertise.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in economics, public policy, or a related social science field.
  • Expertise in econometrics or applied statistics.
  • Highly proficient in STATA.
  • Open to learning new statistical tools as needed for different projects.
  • Proficiency in R and Python preferred.
  • Experience with large-scale data analysis and the design of experiments and quasi-experiments.
  • Prior quantitative research on healthcare topics using methods such as fixed effects, regression discontinuity, or instrumental variables.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration in a virtual work environment.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and writing skills.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis; employment-based visa sponsorship, including H-1B, is not available.
  • Depending on project work, qualified candidates may need to meet certain residency requirements.

Benefits

  • Annual salary range of $106,500 to $142,000 USD.
