Description

  • Provide student support throughout the full student lifecycle, from enrollment through graduation.
  • Manage retention and proactive outreach for an assigned student population.
  • Collaborate with Enrollment, Admissions, Registration, and Academic teams to resolve student questions and concerns.
  • Provide technical support for MyACE Portal, Canvas, ACE email, and the ACE mobile app.
  • Lead onboarding activities for new and re-entry students.
  • Direct students to financing options and assist with payment and finance-related questions.
  • Maintain proactive contact strategies to help students succeed at ACE.
  • Respond promptly to inbound student inquiries and provide support for program and success-related issues.
  • Manage at-risk students through outreach and support.
  • Maintain knowledge of programs, policies, and processes relevant to student success.
  • Build and maintain student satisfaction by anticipating needs and providing timely assistance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop professional rapport with students.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and collaboratively with other departments.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Must be comfortable working remotely in a virtual environment.
  • Must support ACE’s Impact mission and civic engagement values.
  • Must be available to work the scheduled shift: Monday–Thursday and Friday hours vary by time zone (EST, CST, MST, or PST).
  • Remote work requires minimum internet speeds of 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
  • Candidates residing in Alaska, Washington D.C., Massachusetts, South Dakota, or Alabama cannot be considered.
  • Experience in education or student support is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and produce high-volume quality work.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and efficient in solving complex, time-critical problems.
  • Familiarity with AI tools in the workplace is noted, with required reporting if AI accounts for more than 50% of work assignments.
