Description

  • Interact directly with students in a professional manner and support their learning experience.
  • Facilitate a safe and productive online learning environment.
  • Respond promptly to student questions, clarification requests, posts, and personal inquiries.
  • Contact inactive students as needed to support engagement and progress.
  • Review course functionality and content to ensure high-quality course delivery.
  • Provide timely feedback on assignments in accordance with college policies.
  • Synthesize and report student performance data on a timely basis.
  • Support student learning related to ethical conduct, including plagiarism and copyright compliance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and leadership, including attending required meetings.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, and professional societies.

Requirements

  • Earned terminal degree in a field related to the department.
  • Active Principal or Superintendent license.
  • Current K-12 principal license and K-12 principal experience.
  • At least 1 year of teaching and leadership experience in a formal educational setting.
  • Experience using both traditional and non-traditional teaching formats, with higher education strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success developing online or virtual professional relationships.
  • Evidence of professional research and/or creative endeavors and subject-matter expertise.
  • Strong communication, organization, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively in a virtual environment.
  • Reliable internet service with minimum 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds.
