Description

  • Instruct assigned real estate courses according to the provided course plan and materials.
  • Lead livestream and online classes with active student engagement and real-world examples.
  • Respond to student questions by email, voicemail, and discussion board within 1 business day, ideally within 24 hours.
  • Support California Spanish-speaking students within online courses.
  • Recommend strategies for student success and help students meet course objectives.
  • Complete the 16-hour CDEI designation within 4 months of accepting the contract and keep it current through required renewals.
  • Participate in faculty curriculum meetings and ad-hoc meetings.
  • File required paperwork with the state commission for school approvals and renewals.
  • Allow the use of your name and signature on course completion certificates.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a licensed real estate salesperson, broker, or attorney.
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English.
  • Active California real estate license as a salesperson or broker.
  • DREI certification preferred but not required.
  • Previous instruction and/or training experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to teach daytime, evening, and weekend classes.
  • Computer with an HD camera and microphone required.
  • Quiet dedicated office space with a strong internet connection required.
  • Ability to instruct both in an onsite classroom and via Zoom required.
  • Willingness to complete the 16-hour CDEI (Certified Distance Education Instructor) designation within 4 months of acceptance.
  • Ability to keep the CDEI designation current with renewal training every three years.
