Description

  • Own and build Amber's B2B marketing strategy for Europe, including positioning, messaging, channels, and planning.
  • Map industry leaders, publications, and relevant events across the European market.
  • Drive Amber's recognition as a leader in Vehicle-to-Grid and home energy automation among European utilities.
  • Work closely with the A4U sales team to support and accelerate licensing deals.
  • Run PR, content, sales enablement, social, and events activity in the region.
  • Develop B2B brand guidelines while ensuring consistency with Amber's overall brand.
  • Translate Amber's Australian Vehicle-to-Grid proof points into compelling narratives for Europe.
  • Act as the brand steward for Europe and maintain sharp, consistent positioning across marketing and sales touchpoints.
  • Advise utility clients on consumer-facing go-to-market approaches when needed.
  • Share market insights from clients, prospects, and the wider industry with HQ to inform company strategy.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or go-to-market at a fast-growing tech company or scaleup.
  • Proven track record of delivering commercial outcomes through marketing.
  • Experience marketing to senior enterprise buyers in complex, multi-stakeholder, long sales cycle environments.
  • Strong generalist who can prioritize across PR, content, events, and social and execute without a large team.
  • Comfortable owning strategy while remaining hands-on with execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across audiences from executives to journalists to consumers.
  • Ability to work well in ambiguity and build the playbook from scratch.
  • Experience in a founding or early-stage marketing role is advantageous.
  • Full-time availability, ideally based in London, with openness to candidates in wider UK, Germany, or the Netherlands for the right fit.
