Description

  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate the student services team while fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and support team members’ professional development and performance growth.
  • Oversee student housing operations, including applications, assignments, move-in, and check-out processes.
  • Ensure housing facilities are safe, well-maintained, and supportive of community and learning in collaboration with Operations & Facilities.
  • Coordinate meal services with catering providers and manage meal plans, dietary needs, and student feedback.
  • Develop and implement initiatives that improve the student housing and dining experience and strengthen community.
  • Guide students through visa and permit applications and liaise with government agencies and embassies.
  • Maintain accurate immigration records, stay current on policy changes, and train staff on immigration procedures.
  • Oversee financial aid administration, including scholarships, grants, loans, applications, disbursement, and compliance.
  • Manage scholarship programs, support scholar progress, build sponsor relationships, and organize scholar community activities.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in student services, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated experience with housing and meal services, immigration procedures, financial aid programs, or scholar liaison work.
  • Strong understanding of student development theory and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant policies, regulations, and best practices in student services.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate effectively, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Empathy and compassion for students and their diverse needs.
  • Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively with diverse student backgrounds.
  • Strong organization, time management, customer service, integrity, and ethical conduct.
