Description

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects from scoping and planning through milestones, dependencies, risks, and closure.
  • Maintain accurate strategic portfolio status in Asana and flag high-priority items for senior leadership by the 10th–12th of each month.
  • Run project governance using RAID logs, decision logs, action tracking, and structured escalation.
  • 追 Chase statuses, data, and overdue actions across all organizational levels, including directors and VPs.
  • Enforce PMO intake processes and challenge work submitted outside established channels.
  • Report delivery performance honestly, including for projects owned by PMO and Governance teams.
  • Build and maintain Asana workflows, rules, forms, templates, and integrations to reduce manual follow-up.
  • Evaluate and propose tools that improve scheduling, communication, and follow-up, prioritizing free options before paid tools.
  • Communicate project status clearly to senior stakeholders in writing and meetings.
  • Support and develop the PMO Senior Associate through structured delegation and standards.
  • Adhere to ALU’s safeguarding policy and zero-tolerance approach to safeguarding violations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience with demonstrated technical project management delivery across the full lifecycle.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with cross-functional stakeholders, including senior leaders.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and automating a work management platform; Asana is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of project methodologies, risk management, stakeholder mapping, and governance practices.
  • Proficiency with Asana or equivalent platforms such as ClickUp, Monday, or Jira, including automation.
  • Competence with Google Workspace, including Sheets, and hands-on experience using AI tools.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and simply with directors, VPs, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, challenge non-compliance tactfully, and maintain accountability.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Education-sector experience is not required.
