Description

  • Automate the vault pipeline to reduce the time from item receipt to listing on the platform through intake automation, scan orchestration, and quality-control tooling.
  • Design and build ingestion, grading, and pricing workflows for non-card asset classes such as watches, art, and sealed wax.
  • Architect the account infrastructure, billing, and APIs for Vault-as-a-Service so enterprise partners can programmatically vault, ship, and manage assets at scale.
  • Optimize card imaging and lighting pipelines and help turn static photos into 360-degree views for digital repackers.
  • Own the full stack from technical design through polished UI for Vault product experiences.
  • Mentor and support the growing Vault team through code reviews and technical documentation.
  • Help shape Alt Vault into a standalone business by taking features from concept through production.
  • Collaborate across operational and product surfaces that connect software with physical asset handling and logistics.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of backend experience with Python, Postgres, AWS, or similar cloud infrastructure.
  • Frontend experience with React, React Native, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Proven track record of owning features or systems from design to production.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, including writing documentation and giving thoughtful feedback.
  • User-first mindset with attention to clean UX and performance.
  • Bonus: familiarity with the collectibles space or alternative asset marketplaces.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment with operational complexity.
  • Comfort making pragmatic build-versus-buy decisions and moving quickly.
