Description

  • Consult with clients to define technical requirements and architectural approaches for custom integrations.
  • Develop high-quality, testable Java code for custom extensions and complex integrations when standard configurations are not sufficient.
  • Diagnose and resolve performance and integration issues with code-level solutions to maintain system stability.
  • Translate client business goals into scalable technical solutions and implementation plans.
  • Advise on installation, configuration, and customization of the Fraud Analysis platform.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists, Project Managers, and Fraud Analysts to execute client requirements.
  • Contribute to and promote engineering best practices to keep custom work maintainable and aligned with the product roadmap.
  • Mentor and coach team members on software development and technical consulting practices.
  • Provide second-tier support for live clients.
  • Work with Agile principles to deliver quality products on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Computer Science, a comparable degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Java software development.
  • Experience with thread and JVM memory management in high-performance systems.
  • Client engagement experience with the ability to act as a consultant.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with Zookeeper, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, Ansible, Docker, and databases is a nice to have.
