Description

  • Review, edit, and proofread transcripts for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to company standards and format.
  • Edit transcripts to match audio verbatim, correcting grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting issues.
  • Identify and correctly tag speaker names, product names, numbers, and other key identifiers within transcripts.
  • Ensure transcripts are contextually accurate and reflect industry-specific terminology using in-house dictionaries or independent research.
  • Organize, format, and deliver transcripts in the required output format and within set deadlines.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive content with discretion.
  • Maintain steady focus to meet fast turnaround times and manage multiple editing projects concurrently.
  • Use available tools and resources to resolve unclear audio or terminology and escalate issues when necessary.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in transcription, editing, or a related field.
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to understand different accents and variable audio quality.
  • Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, syntax, and punctuation.
  • High attention to detail and ability to produce error-free work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with text editing and document formatting software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs).
  • Comfortable using communication and productivity tools such as instant messaging, Excel, and email.
  • Ability to manage multiple editing projects and meet turnaround time targets.
  • Familiarity with AI transcription tools (preferred).
  • Broad financial literacy and general understanding of financial market concepts (preferred).
  • Knowledge of specific industries and their terminologies (e.g., finance, tech, medical, biotech) and experience with CK Editor or similar editing software (preferred).
