Description

  • Create high-fidelity coded prototypes and interaction models for complex AI-powered workflows.
  • Own high-impact initiatives from concept through production.
  • Lead technical design discussions and make architectural decisions.
  • Guide cross-team implementation efforts across design, product, and engineering.
  • Advance and scale the design system as core product infrastructure.
  • Research and evaluate user requirements with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Translate user and business needs into effective production-ready designs.
  • Collaborate with engineering during development to preserve design fidelity and user experience.
  • Mentor designers and engineers and help raise the overall craft bar.
  • Serve as a connector across design, product, and engineering to navigate tradeoffs and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in product design, UX, front-end engineering, design systems, or a related discipline.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher; a degree in design, computer science, information sciences, psychology, or human-computer interaction is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with modern front-end technologies such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React.
  • Experience with evolving design systems.
  • Experience building AI and agentic experiences.
  • Experience using modern AI tools and technologies such as MCP, Claude Code, Codex, or Skills.
  • Experience shipping production-ready experiences and influencing technical and design decisions across teams.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and end-to-end customer workflows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated project leadership, mentorship, and ability to give constructive feedback.

  • Base compensation of $263,000 to $362,000 USD.
  • May be eligible for a performance-based bonus.
