Description

  • Build custom financial models for customers globally to support a world-class customer experience.
  • Ensure financial models are accurate, error-free, and reflect business operational complexity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to help clients maximize the value of AlphaSense products.
  • Maintain documentation of assumptions, methodologies, and formulas used in models.
  • Perform testing and quality assurance to validate model outputs and formula integrity.
  • Modify models to accommodate changing business conditions, regulations, or new data.
  • Use Excel and the AlphaSense add-in to produce high-quality models and client reports.
  • Create and present models in a clear, easy-to-understand format for clients.
  • Contribute to template library maintenance and updates.
  • Help improve support content by creating or updating knowledge base articles, tutorials, and other documentation.
  • Work with product teams on enhancement ideas and future template library features.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field.
  • Professional qualification such as CFA or FRM.
  • 1-3 years of client-facing experience.
  • Proven expertise in finance and experience building financial models in Excel.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and conduct analysis.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and financial analysis terminology, including DCF and financial statements.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office suite products.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience using CapIQ, Bloomberg, or similar Excel add-ins, preferred.
  • Knowledge of VBA, preferred.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity, proactively identify challenges, and present solutions, preferred.
  • Interest in AI, technology, and software applications, preferred.
