Description

  • Build custom financial models and reports for global customers using AlphaSense Excel add-ins.
  • Ensure financial models are accurate, error-free, and reflect business and operational complexity.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to help clients maximize value from AlphaSense offerings.
  • Maintain clear documentation of model assumptions, methodologies, and formulas.
  • Perform quality assurance testing to validate model outputs and formula integrity.
  • Modify models as business conditions, regulations, or data change.
  • Create and present easy-to-understand models for clients.
  • Support customer onboarding and adoption through model development, conversion, and validation.
  • Contribute to the template library by creating and updating models and related assets.
  • Improve support content by helping create knowledge base articles, tutorials, and documentation.
  • Work with product teams on enhancement ideas for the template library and related features.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field.
  • Professional qualification such as CFA or FRM.
  • 1-3 years of client-facing experience.
  • Deep expertise in finance and experience building financial models in Excel.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and conduct analysis.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting concepts, DCF, financial statements, and financial analysis terminology.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and the ability to explain complex issues simply.
  • Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to extract meaningful information from large data sets.
  • Preferred experience with CapIQ, Bloomberg, or similar Excel add-ins.
  • Knowledge of VBA is preferred.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity, identify challenges proactively, and present solutions.
  • Interest in AI, technology, and software applications is preferred.
