Description

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Intune.
  • Manage users, groups, licenses, and access using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
  • Handle user onboarding and offboarding, including access provisioning and deprovisioning.
  • Support and maintain conditional access policies and basic security configurations.
  • Respond to user issues, service requests, and escalations related to Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Monitor tenant health and service performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Maintain and update documentation for processes, configurations, and standard procedures.
  • Support compliance efforts such as retention policies and basic data governance using Microsoft Purview.
  • Coordinate with external partners or consultants for escalated issues or required changes.
  • Stay current on Microsoft 365 updates and communicate relevant changes to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft 365 administration experience.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) and Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert (MS-102).
  • Strong working knowledge of Azure Active Directory / Entra ID, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for Microsoft 365 administration and automation.
  • Solid understanding of identity and access management (IAM) principles.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to document processes clearly and follow established procedures.
  • Strong communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300); experience in consulting or managed services; exposure to Microsoft Defender; familiarity with Intune device management; experience in structured IT or public sector environments.
  • Must accommodate working hours of 8:30am–5:30pm EST and be eligible to work without sponsorship.

Benefits

  • Pay rate (hourly, W2): $50–$65/hr USD.
  • Remote position with infrequent travel to client sites as required.
