Description

  • Design and evolve GCP cloud architecture, including networking, IAM, interconnects, and high-availability topology, using Terraform and GitOps.
  • Build and own CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure-as-code changes, including policy guardrails, drift detection, testing, review, and progressive rollout.
  • Develop self-service platform capabilities and golden paths for engineering teams.
  • Improve observability across metrics, logs, traces, and alerting using Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, and Alertmanager.
  • Operate GKE clusters, Helm-packaged workloads, message brokers, and data stores in production.
  • Participate in the Follow-The-Sun on-call rotation, incident response, structured debugging, escalation, and blameless post-mortems.
  • Embed SRE practices such as SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and capacity planning into infrastructure operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, infrastructure, or SRE roles operating highly available production systems.
  • Deep hands-on experience designing GCP architecture, including landing zones, networking, IAM, and high-availability topologies.
  • Strong Terraform and infrastructure-as-code experience across multiple environments, with GitOps and least-privilege practices.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines for IaC with automated plan/apply, policy-as-code, drift detection, and safe rollout capabilities.
  • Significant production Kubernetes experience, preferably with GKE, and Helm-based workload deployment.
  • Strong networking fundamentals across VPCs, routing, load balancing, DNS, TLS, and interconnects.
  • Production experience with Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, and Alertmanager.
  • Operator-level experience with PostgreSQL and message brokers such as RabbitMQ or RedPanda.
  • Understanding of SRE practices, incident management, platform-as-a-product principles, and capacity planning.
  • Availability for APAC-hours Follow-The-Sun on-call work and effective communication in a distributed, async-first team.
  • Preferred: experience with policy-as-code tools, large-scale Terraform state and module management, internal developer platforms, Go, Linux, containers, regulated environments, or fintech systems.
