Description

  • Define the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics for Alpaca’s tokenization platform.
  • Own flagship initiatives such as minting and redemption, settlement, custody, and on-chain issuance.
  • Prioritize partner demand, regulatory constraints, engineering capacity, and commercial opportunities.
  • Lead build-versus-buy, partner-versus-direct, and onshore-versus-offshore infrastructure decisions.
  • Conduct discovery with issuers, market makers, broker-dealers, exchanges, custodians, and institutional clients.
  • Own issuer and authorized participant experiences, including documentation, sandbox parity, onboarding, and exception handling.
  • Translate partner needs into sequenced product decisions and support partner conversations with Business Development and Sales.
  • Shape broker enablement through APIs, SDKs, documentation, and reference integrations.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Finance, Engineering, and leadership to deliver regulated products and resolve tradeoffs.
  • Monitor tokenized-securities and real-world-asset policy and competitive developments to inform the Digital Assets roadmap.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or an equivalent field.
  • 6+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, or startup leadership.
  • Senior-level ownership in tokenization, digital assets, brokerage, exchanges, market infrastructure, or capital-markets technology.
  • Experience delivering tokenized securities, RWA issuance, on-chain settlement, or related regulated digital-asset products at production or near-production institutional scale.
  • Strong understanding of capital-markets structure, including trading, custody, clearing and settlement, stock loan or borrow, and post-trade operations.
  • Experience shipping products in regulated environments with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations.
  • Ability to conduct partner discovery, develop prioritized roadmaps, and communicate with technical and executive audiences.
  • Business acumen to evaluate ROI, partner demand, regulatory risk, technical feasibility, timelines, and budget.
  • Comfort using AI as part of a daily product-management workflow.
  • Preferred: Experience at a broker-dealer, exchange, transfer agent, custodian, market maker, or institutional digital-asset/RWA platform.
  • Preferred: Experience with tokenized money-market funds, tokenized securities, RWA issuance, RFQ, atomic settlement, or crypto-native financial infrastructure.
