Description

  • Own the corporate actions product lifecycle, including announcement capture, entitlement calculation, mandatory and voluntary event processing, payouts, and exception handling.
  • Develop the product roadmap, timelines, acceptance criteria, and quality gates for corporate-action processing.
  • Manage corporate-action data-provider relationships and build announcement review workflows to improve data quality.
  • Design and implement staged automation for mandatory corporate actions and pre-reconciliation.
  • Deliver entitlement worksheets, partial-processing capabilities, and operational dashboards covering processing time, workload, progress, and credited amounts.
  • Coordinate corporate-action requirements for newly launched international markets.
  • Partner with engineering teams to prevent data conflicts across Security Master, brokerage, and ledger systems.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Tax, Finance, and Legal to deliver reliable post-trade infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of brokerage corporate-action processing, including announcement sources, record, ex-dividend and payment dates, entitlements, and mandatory versus voluntary events.
  • Experience managing high-volume corporate-action operations at a broker-dealer, clearing firm, custody provider, or post-trade platform.
  • Proven product management or technical program management experience in fintech, brokerage, or financial infrastructure.
  • Experience creating roadmaps, managing backlogs, and delivering under strict operational deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of clearing, stock records, ledgers, settlements, and books and records.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to translate business needs into engineering requirements.
  • Technical fluency with data systems, vendor feeds, reconciliation workflows, observability, and data integrity.
  • Sound judgment balancing risk, operational efficiency, technical feasibility, time, and budget in a regulated self-clearing environment.
  • Familiarity with corporate-action tax reporting, including cost basis, wash sales, 1099 mapping, and Security Master tax attributes.
  • Experience with correspondent or broker-as-a-service models, partner sandbox testing, or AI-native product workflows is preferred.
