Description

  • Translate business goals and customer needs into clear product requirements and specifications.
  • Identify and define AI use cases for forecasting, data entry, search, and routine-task automation.
  • Conduct customer interviews, market research, competitor analysis, and technology evaluations to shape product direction.
  • Prioritize features and development requests according to customer needs, market opportunity, and company strategy.
  • Set product vision, manage scope, and make trade-offs across features, schedule, cost, security, and team capacity.
  • Define success metrics for AI features, including accuracy, time saved, and user adoption, and monitor results after launch.
  • Partner with engineering to design, test, monitor, and manage unexpected outcomes from AI features.
  • Work with Security, Legal, and Engineering on privacy, responsible data use, and AI operating costs.
  • Manage products through their full lifecycle and track delivery progress against plan.
  • Present product and marketing strategies and recommendations to executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Experience in product management or associate product management, preferably in B2B SaaS; inventory management, supply chain, or ecommerce experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience shipping at least one AI or machine-learning product or feature, including large language models.
  • Working knowledge of AI feature development and testing, including prompts, model selection, evaluation, accuracy, and data quality; coding is not required.
  • Understanding of AI risks such as incorrect results, bias, privacy, and cost, and methods to mitigate them.
  • Track record of managing a successful product through its full lifecycle.
  • Experience developing product and marketing strategies and presenting recommendations to executive management.
  • Structured approach and experience with agile methodologies.
  • Experience collaborating with development teams and cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix organization.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, self-management, and execution skills.
  • Practical enthusiasm for emerging technology and the ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team.
