Description

  • Own EU brokerage products across equities, ETFs, tax-wrapper accounts, and regional offerings.
  • Define and execute the EU product strategy and roadmap, including build-versus-buy and partnership decisions.
  • Develop tax-wrapper functionality covering eligibility, contribution rules, tax lots, withholding, reclaim, and local reporting.
  • Build and manage connectivity to EU venues, brokers, and market infrastructure.
  • Ensure products and workflows support MiFID II, MiFIR, ESMA, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Improve regional settlement, custody, clearing, and brokerage operations.
  • Write product requirements and collaborate with engineering, operations, regulators, partners, and institutional clients.
  • Lead customer discussions, translate feedback into product improvements, and report product progress and results to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or an equivalent field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, engineering, consulting, or startup founding, preferably in financial services or fintech.
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in EU brokerage, capital markets, or fintech.
  • Strong understanding of MiFID II/MiFIR, ESMA, EU capital markets, and member-state tax and tax-wrapper regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Business acumen and ability to balance stakeholder needs, technical feasibility, time, and budget.
  • Experience developing EU brokerage products (preferred).
  • Technical experience with APIs, especially in financial services or trading platforms (preferred).
  • Familiarity with CSDR, EMIR, T2S, CSD connectivity, cross-border products, or tax-reporting systems (preferred).
  • Additional EU language skills or experience at a fintech, startup, or EU-authorized investment firm (preferred).
