Description

  • Own prioritized cross-functional operating constraints from initial diagnosis through measurable resolution and durable handoff.
  • Assess unfamiliar domains such as HR, Finance, Engineering capacity, regional operations, and broker-dealer operations to identify scale limitations.
  • Measure current performance, redesign workflows, build processes or automation, and drive adoption until outcomes improve.
  • Mobilize functional leaders and teams without direct authority while coordinating resources and surfacing capacity needs.
  • Select effective leverage points, including workflow redesign, automation, governance, organizational changes, vendors, or hiring.
  • Contribute to company deep-dives by establishing baselines for velocity, capacity, and operational friction.
  • Communicate trade-offs clearly and escalate scope or priority decisions when Director or VP input is needed.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated ownership of complex, cross-functional operating initiatives from diagnosis through implementation and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience solving ambiguous, high-stakes problems end-to-end without handing off recommendations before implementation.
  • Ability to learn unfamiliar domains quickly, map workflows and decision systems, and diagnose root causes.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and mobilize teams without direct authority.
  • Strong prioritization and judgment, including the ability to distinguish root causes from symptoms and challenge scope with evidence.
  • Analytical rigor with experience establishing metrics, measuring before-and-after results, and using data to prove impact.
  • Strong ownership of implementation, adoption, and lasting operational change.
  • Experience in internal product, strategy and operations, business operations, or operational transformation is preferred.
  • Fluency in AI and automation, capability in systems or product building, executive orchestration, or quantitative capacity analysis is preferred; fintech or brokerage experience is helpful.
