Description

  • Manage an assigned territory of National Lottery retailers and build strong working relationships across the retailer network.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the territory, retailers, and competitors to support sales growth and returns to good causes.
  • Deliver annual business plan priorities, including key messages and marketing updates to the retail network.
  • Track and support Retail Sales Team objectives against agreed measures, working cross-territory and cross-division when required.
  • Own and deliver territory management plans, including preparation for store visits and retail KPI execution.
  • Proactively raise in-store standards and ensure retailers receive and act on key commercial messages.
  • Support retailer advocacy of The National Lottery through effective in-store execution and relationship management.
  • Gain retailer commitment to comply with player protection requirements through the Retail Training Centre.
  • Deliver effective training to people at different levels where needed.
  • Drive personal development through the company’s learning and development programme.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience or customer service experience, with field experience desirable but not essential.
  • Strong sales and commercial acumen.
  • Confidence and strong communication skills when speaking with retailers.
  • Experience in face-to-face consultative selling.
  • Ability to build strong relationships through a consultative approach.
  • Ability to use IT packages and adapt across different systems.
  • Ability to analyse data and turn it into customer insight.
  • Ability to deliver effective training to people at all levels.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel across your territory and wider regions when required.
