Description

  • Apply biostatistical methods to support clinical trials and data management across the project life cycle.
  • Lead statistical planning, study design, analysis, and reporting in line with project, organizational, and regulatory standards.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for project teams, quality or study auditors, and external stakeholders.
  • Carry out statistical analyses and guide programmers in using standard software packages.
  • Translate statistical results into biomedical terms and prepare data outputs for reports and research papers.
  • Work with the Director of Academic Research to convert new biometrical trial technologies, processes, and findings into publishable scientific outputs.
  • Provide statistical expertise on study policies, protocols, implementation timelines, data interpretation, and publication planning.
  • Partner with the data management team to ensure captured data aligns with project protocols and requirements.
  • Prepare statistical analysis plans and oversee data collection, management, randomization, and analysis.
  • Assist with the statistical sections of study reports, publications, and presentations.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree required, with professional certifications.
  • 4-6 years of professional experience required.
  • Master’s degree in Statistics or Biostatistics preferred.
  • PhD with research experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience in industry or in an academic setting is preferred.
  • Very strong communication skills are required.
  • Experience working with statistical software packages is implied by the role.
  • Knowledge of clinical trials, biometrics, or statistical analysis planning is preferred.
  • Ability to work within sponsor, organizational, trial, and regulatory requirements is required.

Benefits

  • $86,000 - $143,000 annual salary.
  • Bonus eligibility.
  • Remote full-time, permanent role.
  • Opportunity to work across multiple U.S. locations, including Boston, Philadelphia, Raleigh-Durham, Houston, and Austin.
