Description

  • Apply biostatistical methods to support clinical trials and data management across the project life cycle.
  • Lead statistical planning, study design, analysis, and reporting in line with project, organizational, and regulatory standards.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and provide statistical support to project teams, auditors, and external stakeholders.
  • Carry out statistical analyses and direct programmers in interpreting results within a statistical framework.
  • Prepare statistical data results for reports, research papers, publications, and presentations.
  • Work with the Director of Academic Research to develop and present new biometrical trial technologies, processes, and findings.
  • Provide statistical expertise for study policies, protocols, implementation timelines, data interpretation, and publication planning.
  • Prepare statistical analysis plans, including sample size, randomization procedures, and table/listing shells.
  • Partner with data management to ensure collected data aligns with project protocols and requirements.
  • Lead and develop statisticians and SAS programmers, including task assignment, performance management, coaching, mentoring, and training.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an undergraduate degree is required.
  • Professional certifications are required.
  • 4-6 years of professional experience is required.
  • A Master’s degree in Statistics or Biostatistics is preferred.
  • A PhD with research experience is a strong asset.
  • Experience in industry or in an academic setting is preferred.
  • Very strong communication skills are required.
  • Remote-based role available in Canada or the USA.
  • Experience in clinical research, statistics, or biostatistics is implied by the role.
  • Familiarity with standard software packages and SAS programming support is preferred.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $97,500 to $163,000 per year.
  • Remote work opportunity.
