Description

  • Develop and implement scalable and performant solutions.
  • Maintain, improve, and expand the company’s web application and data pipelines.
  • Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to develop and execute technical roadmaps.
  • Work as a peer on cross-functional teams using Agile processes.
  • Apply observability, alerting, metrics, high test coverage, and frequent releases to reduce risk and deliver incremental value.

Requirements

  • BS/BTech or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience building full-stack web applications as part of a cross-functional team.
  • 1+ years of experience working with SQL or another database querying language on large multi-table data sets.
  • Experience building full-stack web applications in any language or framework (preferred).
  • Proficiency with CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, VueJs, or Ember (preferred).
  • Expertise in at least one server-side web technology such as Node.js, Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, Go, or JVM (preferred).
  • Familiarity with relational database systems (preferred).
  • Experience with API design and development (preferred).
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (preferred).
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
  • Experience with security and systems that handle sensitive data (preferred).
  • Proficiency in machine learning algorithms and techniques (preferred).
  • Experience deploying machine learning models into production environments (preferred).
  • Expertise with statistical data techniques such as causal inference, syntactic analysis, sampling methods, or NLP, including challenges involving incomplete, unrepresentative, or mislabeled data (preferred).
