Description

  • Develop and implement scalable, performant solutions for web applications and data pipelines.
  • Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to develop and execute technical roadmaps using Agile processes.
  • Maintain, improve, and expand existing application and data infrastructure.
  • Apply observability, alerting, metrics, testing, and incremental releases to minimize delivery risk.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers.
  • Conduct thorough pull request reviews and incorporate critical feedback into your own work.
  • Design solutions that address complex healthcare-industry challenges while prioritizing security, correctness, maintainability, and stability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience building full-stack web applications within cross-functional teams.
  • 3+ years of experience using SQL or another database query language with large, multi-table datasets.
  • 3+ years of experience serving as a trusted technical decision-maker balancing short- and long-term business value.
  • 3+ years of experience coaching other engineers.
  • Experience with full-stack web application development in any language or framework.
  • Expertise in at least one server-side technology, such as Node.js, Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, Go, or the JVM.
  • Experience with data ingestion systems and large-scale data processing and analysis optimization.
  • Familiarity with relational databases, API design and development, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and systems handling sensitive data.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods and use computers and keyboards extensively; occasional walking and lifting may be required.
