Description

  • Cultivate a shared vision with product, engineering, and other teams around problem space, constraints, priorities, and the desired end state.
  • Lead the full lifecycle of ML and LLM platform workstreams, from data ingestion and training through deployment and ongoing optimization.
  • Work with internal teams and end users to understand requirements, design solutions, and use data to test hypotheses.
  • Write detailed user stories that capture business rationale, requirements, and measurable success criteria.
  • Develop short- and long-term roadmaps that maximize value while minimizing risk and allowing for ongoing iteration.
  • Partner with AI researchers to turn proofs of concept into production-ready capabilities.
  • Explore user feedback, healthcare records, and validation data to assess and validate model performance.
  • Support execution across teams and articulate technical tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of product management experience in technology, technology-enabled services, or SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of AI and/or machine learning and related technologies.
  • Experience using data and primary research to inform solution design and business understanding.
  • Experience working with Agile teams, Jira, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, DevOps, enterprise software development, cloud infrastructure (Databricks/AWS/GCP/Azure), and data engineering principles.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfort with translating ambiguous product requirements into a technical roadmap.
  • Experience working on or leading AI/ML platform products is preferred.
  • Proven track record of building and launching AI/ML platforms, tools, or internal services is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of the AI/ML product lifecycle, MLOps, and scalable AI infrastructure, including model training, deployment, monitoring, observability, and reliability, is preferred.
  • Experience with LLMs and generative AI technologies, including prompt engineering strategies and VLMs, is preferred.
  • Experience as a data scientist or backend engineer is preferred.
  • Healthcare technology experience, including physician-facing products or clinical datasets such as EHR, claims, or population health data, is preferred.
