Description

  • Architect complex systems and make critical technical decisions across the AI products and platform ecosystem.
  • Solve challenging technical problems with innovative solutions for V0 through V2 product development.
  • Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence across multiple teams.
  • Align technical strategy with business goals through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Contribute to technical roadmaps and strategic planning.
  • Evaluate new technologies and lead innovation initiatives.
  • Build and scale systems that support millions of users worldwide.
  • Guide dozens of engineering teams and influence architecture decisions across a broad horizontal product space.
  • Contribute hands-on code to high-impact technical initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • BS/BTech or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of production-level experience building highly scalable systems.
  • 6+ years of experience as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting.
  • 4+ years of experience working with SQL or other database querying languages on large multi-table data sets.
  • Experience architecting, developing, and deploying large-scale distributed systems.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience building continuous integration and continuous development (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Strong familiarity with server-side web technologies such as Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, or Go.
  • 10+ years of engineering experience architecting and scaling reliable backend or platform systems for millions of users.
  • Proven track record delivering V0, V1, and V2 architecture across large teams of 50+ engineers and multiple product areas.
  • Strong background in architecting or implementing AI-driven features that translate into scalable, user-facing products.
  • Experience designing platform and API ecosystems for broad horizontal product spaces.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, event streaming such as Kafka, and large-scale database systems.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience engineering systems for scalability, high availability, and security, especially with sensitive or regulated data.
  • Familiarity with database replication, sharding, and other distributed systems performance techniques.
  • Ability to lead and mentor senior engineering talent across multiple teams.
  • Demonstrated success evaluating and adopting emerging technologies to drive company-wide technical strategies.
